The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing through a rigorous, fair, and transparent peer-review process. All submitted manuscripts undergo editorial assessment and peer review to ensure scientific quality, originality, validity, and relevance to the journal's scope.
GJDS follows a Single-Blind Peer Review process, in which the identities of reviewers remain confidential, while reviewers have access to the authors' identities and affiliations.
Upon submission, each manuscript is evaluated by the editorial team to determine:

Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial editorial screening are assigned to qualified independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area.
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewer comments. Revised submissions should address all reviewer concerns and may be returned for additional review when necessary.
Editorial decisions are based on:
The journal reserves the right to accept or reject manuscripts regardless of reviewer recommendations when justified by editorial considerations.
All manuscripts and review materials are treated as confidential documents. Editors and reviewers must not disclose manuscript content or review information to unauthorized individuals.
Editors and reviewers must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest that could influence their judgment. Individuals with conflicts of interest may be excluded from the review process.
The peer-review process is conducted in accordance with internationally recognized publication ethics principles. Any concerns regarding plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, authorship disputes, or other forms of research misconduct will be investigated appropriately.
Authors who believe that an editorial decision was made in error may submit a written appeal. Appeals will be reviewed by the editorial team, and additional expert opinions may be sought when necessary.
Through its peer-review process, GJDS seeks to ensure that all published articles meet the highest standards of scientific integrity, academic excellence, and ethical publishing.
